The insurance claims attorneys specializing in workers’ compensation settlement cases in San Diego are regulated by the state of California and are the only ones who do not receive upfront payment without the approval of a judge.

This workers’ compensation agreement includes the percentage of disability based on the injury. These payments will depend on the salary and whether or not the injured person is able to return to work after medical treatment. In addition to disability payments, if applicable, there is also the possibility of lifetime medical treatment, and if so, the case can be reopened to receive additional benefits after 5 years from the date of the injury.

This compensation includes a lump sum payment to resolve all matters related to the case, including temporary disability, percentages of permanent disability based on the injury, and future medical care for the injury. This agreement is final once it is approved by a workers’ compensation judge at a board of appeals hearing.

Trial

This is similar to the Stipulation with Award mentioned above. If the outcome of the trial is in your favor, you will receive a percentage of permanent disability and future medical care.
